The American University in the Emirates is searching for an efficient Administrative Assistant who will provide high-level administrative support and ensuring efficient operation of the office. This role involves managing schedules, coordinating meetings and events, handling correspondence, and performing various office tasks to facilitate the supervisor's work and maintain smooth administrative processes.
Qualifications & Experience

• Master's Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or related field from an accredited university
• 5 years academic and administrative experience in a university
• Preferably bilingual (speaks English and Arabic fluently)

Skills / Training / Knowledge

• Ability to multi-task
• Excellent with English writing including minutes or meetings, reports and emails
• Very high degree of independence, responsibility, and judgment.
• Maintains a professional image and relationships with faculty/students and all stakeholders.
• Experience in Quality Assurance, implementing and monitoring Policies and Procedures
• Must maintain confidentiality
• Accountable for the smooth running of the office, with all administrative responsibilities and tasks
• Effectively resolves daily matters independently
• Knowledge of University programs and operations including Administrative and Academic affairs is preferred.
