Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join our team in Dubai. This role involves designing and managing projects related to building envelopes and façades, with a focus on Aluminium, Glass, ACP, and other architectural elements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design engineering within the aluminium industry and will be adept at creating detailed technical drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and design solutions for building envelope and façade projects, including Aluminium, Glass, ACP, and other architectural elements.
• Create and modify technical drawings and specifications for shop drawings, production drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Ensure all designs meet project specifications and comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers, design teams, and production teams to ensure alignment with project goals and requirements.
• Review and analyze project requirements, technical documents, and design specifications.
• Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, material innovations, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in design engineering, preferably within the Aluminium industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in creating and interpreting technical drawings and specifications using relevant design software.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of Aluminium, Glass, ACP, and architectural elements; Familiarity with UAE local systems and standards.
• Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

Additional Requirements:

• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Demonstrated experience in designing for projects involving Aluminium, Glass, and architectural elements within the UAE.
