Job Summary:
The Junior Planner Engineer provides support in the planning and scheduling of fit-out projects using Primavera P6 software. This role involves working closely with senior planners and project managers to assist in the creation and maintenance of project schedules, tracking project progress, and helping to ensure that projects are completed on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities:
Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month

Job Summary:
The Junior Planner Engineer provides support in the planning and scheduling of fit-out projects using Primavera P6 software. This role involves working closely with senior planners and project managers to assist in the creation and maintenance of project schedules, tracking project progress, and helping to ensure that projects are completed on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and updating detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 under the guidance of senior planners or project managers.
- Support in integrating project activities across various phases, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Participate in scheduling meetings and gather necessary data to update the project schedule.
- Monitor project progress by collecting data on-site activities and updating the schedule as needed.
- Assist in preparing progress reports, including basic analyses such as tracking of milestones and critical path.
- Support in identifying any deviations from the project schedule and assist in recommending corrective actions.
- Help in tracking and updating resource allocations (labor, materials, equipment) as per project requirements.
- Assist in monitoring resource usage and updating schedules to optimize efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with the project team, including site engineers and contractors, to ensure that the project schedule reflects current project status.
- Support in coordinating with various stakeholders to gather information needed for schedule updates.
- Maintain and organize records of scheduling activities, ensuring that all documentation is up to date.
- Assist in ensuring that project schedule-related documents are properly archived and accessible.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Primavera P6 software.
- Familiarity with fit-out construction processes is preferred.
- Knowledge of other project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project) is a plus.
- At least 3 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably in fit-out projects or a related construction field.
- Exposure to project planning or scheduling tasks during internships or academic projects is beneficial.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of construction methods and practices.
- Eagerness to develop skills in project planning and scheduling.
- Primarily office-based with occasional site visits as required.
- May involve working extended hours to meet project deadlines
Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
