Your Opportunity
Khadamat are looking for a Maintenance Team Leader - Civil who will oversee and manage a team of civil technicians and third-party contractors responsible for the maintenance, repair, and improvement of the facility's civil infrastructure. This includes tasks related to structural repairs, masonry, carpentry, plumbing, and general civil works. The Civil Team Leader supports and supervises civil-related projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently, on time, and in line with safety standards and client specifications. Additionally, they provide technical expertise, coordinate with other departments, and ensure the long-term integrity and functionality of the facility’s civil assets, while actively supervising and guiding project delivery.

The ideal candidate should have excellent supervisory skills, good communication skills and the ability to take on new assignments at short notice with e xcellent fault finding skills.

This role is part of the Khadamat team and will be based in Al Ain, UAE.

Key Accountabilities Supervise, lead and execute planned and reactive maintenance tasks in accordance with schedules and KPIs Organise support staff within team to reach planned objectives. Provide technical advice and support to maintenance teams and management. Diagnose defects and faults reported and provide appropriate cost-effective technical solutions Liaise with stores to arrange and make sure the availability of all the required spare parts at all time. Provide reports and documentary records for Concept Evolution. Operate to the highest standards of Health and Safety. Support the execution of Lifecycle& variation projects. Support in day-to-day activities of Estates management. Carry out regular and routine inspections of building fabrics and equipment’s. Shift duty coverage.

Specific Requirements Excellent technical knowledge in Civil Engineer disciplines Broad experience in operating multiple building facilities Understanding of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems Knowledge of Archibus FM and Concept Evolution is desirable Fully understands interrelation of services in complex facilities Ability to diagnose faults and reach appropriate solutions Able to work at own initiatives Excellent communicator able to give clear and concise instruction to support staff Excellent command of English (written and oral)
