About the Role:
Al Masaood Energy is currently recruiting experienced and highly motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to be a part of a great team based at Abu Dhabi, UAE. If successful, you will be responsible for Mechanical Designs.
Responsibilities:

• Interpret and understand piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and other documents outlining project scope.
• Create rough sketches and detailed drawings using CAD systems.
• Perform material and weight calculations to ensure design accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineers and technical teams, incorporating feedback into design modifications.
• Review and revise drawings in coordination with the Technical/Engineering team.
• Ensure final designs meet operational regulations and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Auto CAD and the client’s Document Management System.
• Identify and understand field equipment, including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and piping components.
• Create, modify, and maintain accurate drawings using proper drafting techniques.
• Interpret engineering mark-ups to correct and update drawings as necessary.
• Follow site-specific Management of Change (MOC) procedures and adhere to all safety protocols.
• Ensure compliance with company and client safety standards.
• Follow all company, customer procedures, engineering practices, and relevant standards.
• Develop technical drawings based on specifications and calculations.

Required Skills:

• BS of Enginering (Mechanical or industrial)
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in Mechanical Designing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to details
• Knowledge of Leak Seal Clamp
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of ASTM code standard
• Expert in (CAD and Solid works)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Oil and Gas
• Certification in ASTM
