About the Role:
Al Masaood Energy is currently recruiting experienced and highly motivated PAUT Technician to be a part of a great team based at Abu Dhabi, UAE. If successful. The PAUT Technician is responsible for performing Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing on various materials and welds in accordance with industry standards, client specifications, and safety regulations. The technician will interpret test results, produce reports, and ensure compliance with quality control and safety procedures.
Responsibilities:

Perform Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) on components, materials, and welds according to applicable standards and specifications.
Calibrate and set up PAUT equipment, ensuring all settings are accurate for the testing requirements.
Interpret and evaluate test results, identifying defects and anomalies within the tested materials.
Generate detailed inspection reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
Ensure all testing is performed in compliance with safety guidelines and industry regulations, such as ASME, API, and ISO standards.
Assist in the development and implementation of testing procedures and techniques to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Maintain PAUT equipment and report any malfunctions or needs for repair.
Collaborate with other NDT personnel, engineers, and supervisors to provide technical support and expertise.
Adhere to all company safety protocols and PPE requirements while on site or in the testing facility.
Participate in continuous training and professional development to stay current with advancements in NDT technology and techniques.

Required Skills:

3 years Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 10 years’ experience as in oil and gas felid
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to details
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

ASNT/PCN LEVEL II in PAUT,ET,VT,RT,MT,PT
