Job Title: MEP Operation Manager -MEP
Location: United Arab Emirates -Abu Dhabi
Reports To: Manager Director/Chairman
Job Summary: The MEP Operation Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) operations within the company. This role ensures that all MEP systems are designed, installed, and maintained according to the highest standards and in compliance with relevant authority requirements. The MEP Operation Manager will lead a team of project managers and engineers, ensuring the successful delivery of projects within budget and on time while maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants.
Educational Qualifications:
Graduation: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Experience:
15-20 years of demonstrated experience working in MEP contracting companies, preferably in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
MEP Systems Expertise:
Demonstrate profound knowledge of major MEP systems such as HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting, Building Management Systems (BMS), and Electrical Systems.
Ensure all systems comply with relevant authority requirements, such as ADDC, ADWEA, etc.
Operational Management:
Oversee the complete operations of the MEP division, ensuring efficient management of resources, contracts, and project timelines.
Implement and monitor engineering project controls, quality standards, and budget adherence.
Contract Management:
Lead the management of contracts, ensuring all terms are adhered to and that the company’s interests are protected.
Work closely with procurement, finance, and HR departments to ensure smooth project operations.
Financial Oversight:
Coordinate with the finance department for the timely submission and certification of payment applications.
Monitor project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and cost control measures are implemented.
Client and Stakeholder Relations:
Maintain strong, healthy relationships with main contractors, consultants, and clients.
Act as the primary point of contact for all MEP-related matters, ensuring client satisfaction.
Leadership and Team Management:
Provide strong leadership to project managers and the entire MEP team.
Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.
Required Skills:
Extensive experience in MEP contracting within the UAE.
Strong understanding of MEP systems and authority requirements.
Proven ability to manage complex projects, including resource allocation, contract management, and budget control.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing teams.
Salary Range : AED.25-30K
