Senior Site Electrical Engineer for 33KV/132KV Substation
Purpose of the Job
To Plan, Control and Manage all Site Activities including arrange all required miscellaneous installation materials and erection tools for 33k V and 132k V Substation.
Network & Links
He will mainly liaise with the Client Site supervisors, manage all site engineers, site technicians, project manager, construction manager, safety officer, coordinate with civil and MEP site engineers as well as site commissioning engineers.
Objectives
He will have to organize and manage all the site installation, erection and commissioning activities, prepare the required site plan and prepare all reports for miscellaneous site materials; implement the overall project plans till completion. Hold the custody and responsibility of all project drawings at site including the supervision of the marked up drawings. Ensure the safety plans, process and procedures are followed strictly. Control and manage the project major equipment and site materials. Arrange and coordinate with the project manager for the site inspections.
Measurement
Site Plans and Schedule till energization are met. Safety process are followed. All three weeks look ahead plans are met, all site documentation are compliled and handed over to the PM, all surplus materials are secured and shifted to central warehouse, complete demobilization are completed on time.
Responsibilities

• Review the overall project time schedule to follow and ensure full completion.
• Review all approved drawings and ensure it availability at site.
• Arrange for the site mobilization and site office set up.
• Coordinate with PM and construction Manager to provide the required manpower and resources required for successful installation and erection.
• Supervise and manage all site activities including MEP and commissioning.
• Prepare and submit all site reports.
• Prepare the entire site work plan including the three weeks look ahead plan.
• Estimate and calculate all the required site materials and follow up to arrange such materials.
• Execute the project as per millstone date and protect the company from any risk.
• Plan and request the required qualified, competent and cost effective resources and tools on timely manner to execute his job on high professional manner.
• Reinforce the Company position as one of the major players in substation market by executing the project professionally in high professional manner.
• Built very good relation with the customer / consultant by understanding their position and gain their trust and confident
• Increase the gross margin and profit for the project by using cost effective installation and erection method.
• Hold the complete responsibility on site materials and avoid materials waste and ensure safe handling of the site materials.
• Ensure full compliance of Company and customer rules and procedures.
• Coordinate closely with PM, construction Manager, commissioning team, civil team, MEP team and all persons to improve project site activities.
• Carry out disciplinary actions in accordance with company policy to improve site works activities and protect Company interest.
• Get the progress reports approved and validated by the client to improve invoicing action and plan.
• Support and arrange for all site training program for the client in line with the contract obligations.

Educational Requirements: Electrical Engineer with 10 to 15 years experience
Desired Knowledge / Experience: Shall have a similar experience in site management of 33k V & 132k V Substation Equipment (Transformers, 132/33/11k V switchgear, control and protection, cabling works, AC/DC auxiliary systems, etc.)
Behavioral Skills / Competencies: Very strong personalty, proactive, deep knowledge in electrical equipment erection and installation sequence, strong erection planning and reporting, good communication skills, discipline, fluent English, strong reporting skills, very good knowledge of computer software
Technical Skills & Competencies: Knowledge of reading electrical, mechanical and civil drawings, reading clearly the interface between electrical, mechanical and civil. Able to understand schematics drawings, good experience and knowledge on erection of major S/S equipment, ability of estimation bill of quantities for site materials and miscellenouse erection materials.
