Job Description

Mott Mac Donald are leading the way in Nature Services and we are looking for people to join our Ecology Team and to play their part in integrating nature into all developments so that together with our clients we can build a better future.

Joining our team as a Graduate Ecologist you will have a balance of office-based and site work and ample opportunity to work with more experienced members of the team and our technical specialists to develop your career.

The bulk of our work is focussed on developing infrastructure in the water, transport and power sectors. The projects you will be working on can span all stages of a project’s life cycle, from design conception to implementation; giving opportunities to positively influence scheme design, and enhancements and promote best practice.

We have opportunities for graduate ecologists in our Brighton, Reading, Cambridge and Norwich offices.

To be eligible for this opportunity, you will have less than 12 months relevant experience (excluding placements), have a degree or are expected to achieve one of the following degree disciplines:

Ecology

Biodiversity

Biology

Conservation

In your application you should be able to demonstrate your interest in the role and working at Mott Mac Donald through relevant experience, such as studying relevant modules, or previous work experience.

We are looking for graduates with the following characteristics:

Methodical approach to problem solving.
Ability to use your initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently.
Excellent verbal communication skills, which allow you to confidently liaise with clients and team members.
Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
