Account Manager - Health

We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join our growth team in Capita Public Service partnering with one of our largest clients, NHS England.

We are seeking an individual with experience working with NHS England to build, nurture and maintain deep, trusted relationships with our clients and to convert client needs into value opportunities with the Client and Business Development teams.

This is a home based role with occasional client travel.

Job Description:
What you'll be doing :

  • Growing the value of client accounts through deep understanding of the Health division client’s strategic and operational priorities and transformation agenda.
  • Identifying where the division can bring new value to the client through service innovation and / or new services that meet the client needs
  • Work in partnership with clients to identify and crystallise solutions to improve their existing service or address new service requirements
  • Develop strategies that maximise profitable growth by engaging (1) new customer & product insight & innovation into retender opportunities, (2) business development, proposition & pre-sales teams to co-create solutions to address new client needs , (3) Transactional Sales team to quote and close sales for standard services
  • Proactively develop and executes account growth plans and drives pipeline opportunities to close and win
  • Apply rigorous data-led sales reporting (through Salesforce) and forecasting to enable accurate data-led sales planning, reporting and performance and drive timely & best return on sales pursuit decision-making Adheres to division commercial, architectural and operational governance standards

What we're looking for :
  • Experience of working directly with or within NHS England
  • Relationship Management: able to build, nurture and maintain deep, trusted relationships with client and in so doing is able, to assimilate the client’s strategic and near-term operating challenges and priorities
  • Engaging communicator, able to convert client needs into value opportunities with the Client and Business Development team to ensure client needs are understood and represented through the solution / service offering
  • Operates effectively at senior/ mid-levels in the Client environment. Is adept at navigating the client’s operating landscape and stakeholders to bring consensus to new solutions
  • Collaboration: engenders a culture of shared outcomes and opportunities with the wider Client Group and division sales engine to deliver Growth ambitions
  • Models account management and sales best practise to create, nurture and close growth opportunities
