Starting salary £13.75 per hour
We are looking for a part time Assistant Cook/Chef to cover around 30 hours a week to include some hours on alternate weekends.

Main Duties of our Assistant Cooks/Chefs;

• To prepare food and cook in a hygienic manner. Help come up with ideas for meals and mealtimes.
• To be aware of the residents’ dietary needs and respond to their comments and requests in respect of the menu.
• To hold a suitable food and hygiene certificate.
• To dispose of waste correctly.
• To ensure that all food is used within the prescribed period, with particular attention paid to perishable goods.
• To contribute in the serving of food.
• To perform other such reasonable duties as may be required.

Skills and Experience of our Assistant Cooks/Chefs;

• Previous experience working within a kitchen environment
• High level of written and spoken English
