Reporting to the FP&A Manager this is a varied and interesting role that will be able to add value and allow its various divisions to make financially astute business decisions that will in turn facilitate continued business growth.
To be a suitable candidate, you will need to have about 2 years of finance/accounting experience, ideally gained within a TV, Entertainment, or media company. You will have excellent communication & interpersonal skills, a willingness to learn, and have already commenced your studies towards a professional accountancy qualification. A genuine interest in TV & Film is also required!
Responsibilities of the role include:

• Prepare monthly management accounts,
• Prepare departmental profitability report and other ad hoc reports
• Prepare cash position forecasts
• Manage the commissions Masterfile
• Prepare commission reports, ensuring splits are allocated correctly
• Raise invoice and chase for payment for production & development projects
• Manage Group payments including FX trades
• Manage new company/SPV set ups to include Companies House, HMRC & bank and manage the ongoing administration required

Candidate specifications:

• At least 2 years finance/accounts experience ideally gained with a Entertainment, TV, Media or similar company
• A graduate with a strong academic record
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a confident and friendly manner
• Self motivated and excited to be part of a growing, fast paced business
• Can-do attitude with a logical and flexible approach and striving to continuously learn
• Highly organised, great attention to detail, able to meet/exceed deadlines and
• A positive character who isn’t afraid to voice ideas
• A genuine interest for the TV/Film/Entertainment industry
