An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a well established and successful accountancy practice in Basingstoke. This is a brand new role which has come about through growth. The position will directly support the Client Managers, servicing a portfolio of bookkeeping clients and providing an end to end service.
Duties:
- Manage a portfolio of limited company, sole trader, and partnership clients from a diverse range of industry sectors.
- Completing full bookkeeping for all clients.
- Ensure general bookkeeping is completed in a timely manner.
- Managing monthly and weekly payroll for a small portfolio of clients.
- Preparing and submitting VAT and CIS returns, dealing with HMRC queries.
- Liaising with clients to answer financial queries.
- AAT Qualified would be ideal, but qualified by experience and other levels of AAT will be considered.
- Recent experience working for a UK based accountancy practice in a Bookkeeping function is essential.
- Experience completing full bookkeeping for a variety of clients from different industries.
- Experience working with limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
- You must currently be based in the UK with an unrestricted right to work.
