Global Solution Services (GSS UK Ltd) are a Careers, Consultancy and Training Service providing Careers support and Training across South London. We ensure our customers can be the best version of themselves and move on to achieve successful careers through our individual careers guidance and support.
We are looking for a Careers Consultant to join our successful and growing team of consultants who deliver Careers Advice and Guidance across South London. We work within many different areas therefore ensuring our consultants have a variety of niche clients to work with in a multitude of sectors which ensures great success.
As a Career Consultant you will need to be able to manage your time effectively, be pro-active, insightful, motivational and be able to build confidence with individuals. You will provide pro-active Employability skills and careers advice utilising our range of different media, websites and targeted information provided. You should be able to adapt yourself and your communications to suit our customer’s needs and be versatile enough to deal with different market sectors.
Careers Qualifications from Level 3 would be desirable as would CIAG Level 4 in Careers Advice and Guidance.
To be a great Careers Consultant you will need to be:

• Able to work from our locations in and around the South London area and be available on occasions to cover different locations in London if required.
• Able to conduct one-to-one/group careers sessions including: CV writing, Interview support, Pro-active job methods as well as use of social media within the employability market.
• Demonstrate your track record of success
• A non-judgemental attitude with excellent listening skills, attention to detail and a good knowledge of the current job market is an advantage
• Tenacious, driven, success orientated and ambitious to progress
• Strong communicator, imaginative, professional and able to build strong relationships with your customers
• Promote equal opportunities and recognition of diversity throughout the company.
• A Qualification in Level 4 Careers information and guidance qualification (CIAG) or IAG Level 3 or equivalent would be a bonus!
