Position Overview:
We are seeking talented carpenters to complete various projects within the UK. The role involves taking measurements, preparing sites for woodwork, preparing cabinetry for kitchens and bedrooms, installing handles, locks, hinges, and evaluating materials for defects. You'll also be expected to read and interpret designs, liaise with suppliers, follow remodeling projects, and source timber according to size and budget specifications. The role may also involve minor work with joists and roofing when fitting wardrobes and kitchens.
Key Responsibilities:
To demonstrate your experience, you must pass an interview and assessment. Upon successful selection, you will undergo an induction to prepare for your role. Serious applicants only.

Key Responsibilities:
- Measurements & Site Preparation: Accurately measure and prepare sites for woodwork.
- Cabinetry & Installation: Prepare cabinetry for kitchens and bedrooms, including installing handles, locks, and hinges.
- Quality Assurance: Evaluate materials for defects and ensure high-quality craftsmanship.
- Design Interpretation: Read and interpret designs to meet the specifications set by designers.
- Supplier Liaison: Work closely with suppliers to source materials and ensure timely deliveries.
- Remodelling Projects: Follow remodelling projects for kitchens and bedrooms.
- Timber Sourcing: Source timber according to required sizes and budget.
- Structural Support: Occasionally work with joists and roofing, especially during wardrobe and kitchen installations.
- Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Joiner or in a similar role within the construction or property management industry.
- Proficiency in using a variety of power tools, including saws, drills, and sanders, as well as hand tools essential for carpentry work.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and joinery methods, with an emphasis on quality and durability.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements, ensuring high-quality finishes.
- Physical stamina and strength for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing.
- Basic skills in electrical, plumbing, and painting are a significant plus, enhancing versatility on the job.
- Experience with masonry work will be considered an advantage, offering a broader skill set to our projects.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication and collaboration skills.
