Pinnacle Group is looking for a hardworking Lunchtime Catering Assistant to support our catering operations in a school kitchen. You will be joining our onsite Catering Team based at Methley Primary School LS26
Your responsibilities will include assisting with food preparation, serving meals, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, and ensuring food safety standards are met.
You will need to be reliable, efficient, and have a passion for providing excellent service. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a keen interest in catering, we would love to hear from you.
We are offering a Permanent Role of 15hrs per week and you will be working Monday to Friday 11.30am – 1.30pm Term Time Only

Key responsibilities will include:

• To prepare and maintain the food and beverage service areas attractively and hygienically.
  • To assist in everyday food preparation and cooking in the kitchen as and when required.
  • Serve all food & drinks to the highest standard using the correct tools and presentation techniques.
  • Clean and wash up all equipment, kitchen, and service areas to comply with cleaning schedules.

• The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Key requirements:

• Catering experience is preferred and Level 2 Food Safety is an advantage
• You must be flexible and able to work in a multi-service team.
• Knowledge of Basic Food Hygiene , Natashas Law, Health & Safety and C.O.S.H.H. compliance.
• Please Note : The appointment of this role will be subject to completion of a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure Barring Service Check (DBS)
