They are responsible for ensuring the smooth operations of our kitchens day in, day out. They are fast thinking, motivated individuals who work as part of a well-oiled team, ensuring guests receive the very best food time and time again.
Responsibilities

• Promote the Japes experience to employees.
• Think as a radical and act as a disruptor in the pizza industry to help Japes stand out from other cookie cutter pizza brands.
• Create our dishes to the standards we are known for.
• Interact with the front of house teams to create a seamless and fun working environment.
• Develop an intimate knowledge of our menus and offer, becoming a trusted source for recommendations and expert advice.
• Aim to be better than the rest.
• Entertaining both guests and other team members.
• Step outside your role to help the Team Members in all departments when needed

The Role

• Opening and Closing the kitchens and all sections.
• Prep and batch preparation of ingredients.
• Following specs to produce the Japes pizzas and other dishes.
• Adapting to guest's requirements.
• Working as a Team to ensure all sections are covered and helped.
• Taking in deliveries.
• Ensuring a safe, clean working environment.
• Tidying and cleaning the venue after closing time.
• Assisting your fellow Team Members when needed.
• Adhering to all food safety legislation and working to the guidance with due diligence.

Health & Safety

• Ensure that you have received the necessary training so that you can competently carry out your duties and responsibilities.
• Acknowledge and accept a personal responsibility for your own safety, as well as the safety of your team.
• Ensure that the Japes safety image is reflected positively through your actions.
• Manage all safety procedures and reporting to a consistently high standard while ensuring all team members are suitably trained to perform their roles in a safe environment.

Pay: From £11.44 per hour
