The Extra Care Charitable Trust have a fantastic opportunity for a Chef to join our friendly team at our Pannel Croft Retirement Village.
Are you an experienced Chef who is creative and likes to cook a range of menu’s including Caribbean food?
You could be involved with menu planning and ensuring special dietary requirements are considered as well as a varied menu of freshly cooked meals and snacks.
You will also contribute to the smooth running of the kitchen within a small team.

Details:

• Role: Chef
• Hours: 30 hours per week
• Work Pattern: Flexible across 7 days a week.
• Salary: £12.60 per hour

What will you do as our Chef?

• Responsible for providing freshly cooked meals
• Offer residents an excellent choice of meals which provide good nutritional value
• Assist with other kitchen duties and ensure HACCP is followed
• Ensure the menus are prepared within budget

Our ideal Chef will :

• Have experience of working in a similar environment
• Be qualified to QFC / NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
• Have previous experience of budgeting
• Possess high kitchen standards
• Have a presence at front of house.
