Guild Care is Worthing’s most established Social Care charity and one of the largest employers in the area.
- Location: Worthing, West Sussex
- Salary: Up to £15.32 per hour, plus mileage (60p per mile)
- Hours of work: 24 hours a week (6 hour shifts)
- Shift Patterns: 07:00 - 13:00 & 16:00 - 22:00
- Block Pay: Paid for the full shift. Bi-weekly pay day.
- Flexible hours available.
- Up to £1000 welcome bonus.
We are seeking a Community Care Assistant to join our team and provide exceptional care to clients in the comfort of their own homes.
As a Community Care Assistant, your primary responsibilities include offering exceptional care and practical assistance to clients in their homes. This involves cleaning, preparing meals, companionship, and personal care, all while following safe working practices and respecting the privacy and dignity of clients.
You will be required to work every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday.

- Commitment to ongoing training and development to stay updated on best practices and new information in the field
- Experience working with older people, dementia care, and manual handling.
- Evidence in Care Certificate or NVQ qualifications.
- Experience of domiciliary Care
