Community Care Worker

We are Affexa Care Services, a Homecare provider based in Stafford.
We Provide a range of care and support services for people who need a caring hand to remain safe at home or accessing the community.
We’re on the lookout for people who have the right values and attitude to join us on our journey.

Current vacancies are:
  • Full Time Care Worker (7.00-14.30/ 15:30-22.30)
  • Evening Care Worker (15:30 - 22:30)
Hours, Contracts, Pay, and Benefits
We understand that everyone has different commitments outside of work, that's why we try to offer hours and contracts that allow for excellent work:life balance.
We have part-time, full time and bank/zero hours positions available, so we have something to suit your availability.
Some of our roles are fixed-hour contracts and come with competitive salaries and benefits, including fuel allowances and enhancements, so if you would like more information, send in your application and we will be in touch.
Our lowest rate of pay for our care team is £11.44 per hour. This is for those joining the team with no experience and no social care qualifications. Your actual rate of pay will be dependent on your role and level of qualification.

Qualifications:
There are no specific qualifications required to join our team, just a willingness to learn. We do however, offer development opportunities for those who are wanting to progress in a career with us.
We offer a wide range of qualifications, including the Care Certificate, Levels 2-4 in Health and Social Care plus a wide range of short courses.
Experience:
If you’ve never worked in Social Care, we know you won’t have any experience and may be embarking on a career change or your very first job. That's why we want applications from people with zero experience, those who have worked in the sector for many years, and everyone in between.
All we ask is that you can demonstrate genuine interest in providing a high-quality level of care and support.

Do I need to drive?
Driver’s licence and access to a vehicle for business use would be beneficial but not essential to join our team.
BUSINESS INSURANCE IS MANDATORY FOR ALL DRIVING CANDIDATES.
Some of the roles that we’re recruiting for would require you to have a driver’s licence and access to a vehicle, so if you’re interested in a particular role, get in touch with our recruitment team.
