Community Pharmacist
We are an established and thriving independent pharmacy currently looking for a motivated pharmacist willing to take on new challenges. We have been serving the local community for almost 15 years.
This role is for a fulltime permanent pharmacist and will be suitable for someone who has a passion for quality customer service, innovative ideas, service provision, is business-minded, and most of all patient-led.
Responsibilities:
· Provide efficient and effective dispensing, prescription evaluation and stocking and other pharmacy related services
· Provide advice to patients on the use of medicines and on chronic disease management.
· Exceed customer expectations by ensuring consistent delivery of the Company’s customer service standards.
· Ensure that dispensing, and all services, are consistently delivered to the required standard through SOP compliance by the whole pharmacy team (including locums).
· Ensure the delivery of the full NHS permitted quota of DMS and NMS services, and maximize local enhanced service revenue.
· Spearhead advanced services such as Pharmacy First, Hypertension Case Study and Ear Suction services.
· Lead and motivate the dedicated pharmacy team, provide them with training on our various continuous programmes and promote their development.
· Ensure application of clinical governance principles in the delivery of all pharmacy services, in line with the GPh C standards.
· Ensuring the pharmacy services SOP’s are kept up to date.
· Proactively pursue own professional development through proven engagement in regular CPDs
· Ensure full compliance with the Responsible Pharmacist regulations and the GPh C standards.
· Plus any other tasks and projects as directed by the Principal Pharmacist.
Essential Requirements:
· MPharm degree or equivalent.
· Already possess your GPh C registration.
· Flu vaccination qualification.
· At least 2 years post-qualification UK community pharmacy experience.
· Other relevant pharmacy experience, preferably from the UK.
· Demonstratable delivery of excellent customer service.
· Possession of leadership qualities and experience.
· Excellent interpersonal, communication & time management skills.
· Ability to work independently and also part of a team.
· Ability to set clear objectives and multi-task in a busy setting.
· Ability to work at a fast pace and still ensure prescription and dispensing accuracy.
· Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the pharmacy.
· A visible passion for pharmacy and a drive to develop and provide more services.
· An entrepreneurial and business-minded approach.
· Fluency in English is essential, fluency in another language is a bonus.

Pay: £40,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
