Compliance Integrations Specialist

As a Compliance Integrations Specialist, internally known as Integrations Risk Specialist, you will join our growing Integrations team to support us through an exciting period of growth. You will be responsible for supporting acquisitions and ensuring that systems and controls comply with regulations and legal requirements, whilst minimising risk and identifying successful improvements for future acquisitions. This role is integral to the growth of Progeny, with the opportunity to make an impact on the wider business.
This role can be based in Leeds, London, Edinburgh, Worthing, or Nottingham (Hybrid or Home based).
Key Responsibilities

Ensuring acquisitions have up-to-date FCA permissions, data sharing and all other necessary regulatory documents in place.
Support an acquired business with all its compliance queries and report-writing needs.
Liaising with third parties to support and oversee business reviews, risk assessments and due diligence checks on existing and potential acquisitions to minimise risk and deliver successful integrations.
Taking ownership and delivering our risk integration plans to acquired firms, whilst educating colleagues and aligning Consumer Duty practices to Progeny’s.
Ensure efficient integration processes throughout, including liaising with stakeholders, embedding the Progeny culture into acquisitions, and supporting with after-care and onboarding.
Proactively identify and support the remediation of new risks to business integration plans, whilst continuously developing the risk integration strategy in line with business needs.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent (essential)
Experience working in a risk and compliance role within financial services (essential)
Detailed understanding of Risk Management
A thorough understanding of regulatory rules relating to Financial Services including money laundering, GDPR, FCA, and other relevant legislations.
Working knowledge of FCA high-level Standards, including TC, COCON, SYSC, COBs, and FIT
