The team:
The Investment Banking division is organized across industry, country, and product coverage teams. Industry teams include Consumer and Retail; Natural Resources; Financial Institutions; Financial Sponsors; Healthcare; Multi-Industries; Real Estate, Gaming and Leisure; and Technology, Media and Telecoms amongst others. Product teams cover Mergers and Acquisitions and Leveraged Finance and country teams cover all regions in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and are partially or fully based in regional offices. Coverage teams work together across the Investment Banking division to provide solutions to our clients on a range of strategic topics covering corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and capital markets advice.


The EMEA Consumer and Retail Investment Banking team is an industry coverage team focused on a dynamic and highly active sector, with strong deal flow and a wide variety of business models covered. As an analyst in our team, you will gain significant exposure to clients, senior bankers, peers and expand your analytical and communications capabilities.


Programme Overview
This position sits within Bank of America’s EMEA Consumer & Retail Investment Banking team, based in London.
As an investment banking analyst you will participate in the full cycle of transaction execution including idea generation, preparation of client materials, reviewing and creating financial analysis, preparing and presenting internal committee memos as well as partaking in process coordination.

Your training and development are our top priority with extensive formal training offered at the start of the programme in addition to on-the-job support, educational speaker events and mentorship throughout.


Responsibilities:
As a Full-Time Analyst, your key tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Work on projects alongside bankers in specific industry, product and country coverage groups providing you with a unique learning opportunity
• Help the team deliver solutions to clients leveraging the full spectrum of the bank's capabilities
• Actively contribute to the preparation of client presentations and underlying financial analysis including valuation, benchmarking, merger modelling and other analytical exercises
• Build relationships, knowledge and experience that will open doors to a wide range of future career opportunities
• Actively participate in executing transactions, including work with clients as well as representatives of other investment banks and other advisors

Eligibility

• Candidates are required to be a recent graduate, or in their final year of study pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university, with a graduation timeframe between May 2024 – June 2025
• Must be available to join the Graduate Analyst programme as a full time employee at one of the following three intake dates: 13th January 2025, 7th April 2025, or 21st July 2025
