At Black Swan Care Group, we are currently looking for a cook/chef to work in one of our residential care facilities, Laurel Lodge on a part time, 27 hour permanent contract, £12.00 per hour.
Laurel Lodge is a beautiful, large Victorian house in the leafy area of Ipswich Road in Norwich, converted into a residential care home. We provide short-term, respite care and longer term care and support at the home. One of four Black Swan homes in Norwich, the home provides care and support for up to 32 residents

- Prepare residents meals and maintain a well-balanced nutritious diet (Taking into consideration special dietary needs and requirements as set out in Residents Care Plans, and residents menu choices)
- Ensure food stock supplies are monitored and deliveries are correct, and all food are temperature probed, recorded, stored correctly and stock rotated.
- Maintain a high standard of food preparation and implement the requirements set out by the Environment Health and Local Authority for the Home, the Food Safety Act 1990, and the Food Hygiene (England) Regulations 2005. (Personal appearance must be of an acceptable level. Uniform provided must be worn, hair covered or tied back. Sensible enclosed non-slip shoes to be worn.)
