• Write and edit content for media channels like press releases, websites, and social media.

• Update the communications calendar with planned content.

• Build relationships to source and develop stories.

• Drive media coverage and backlinks to our website.

• Collaborate with the comms team to coordinate internal and external activities.

• Assist with comms reporting and suggest ideas to boost engagement.

• Strong copywriting skills for multiple channels and audiences.

• Passion for communication and continuous improvement.

• Ability to plan, prioritise, and multitask while managing expectations.

• Proactive and flexible problem-solving skills.

• Great interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

• Understanding of brand consistency and messaging.

• A team player attitude, able to work independently when needed.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Media coverage and backlink experience (advantageous).

• Basic experience with CMS, image, and video editing is a plus.

• Experience in the veterinary or pet industry is a bonus.

• Willingness to travel to UK/Ireland sites and events.
