The Opportunity
We're seeking a passionate and innovative Creative Lead to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping Islamic Aid's visual identity across all platforms, from digital to physical. You'll be a storytelling maestro, translating our mission into compelling visuals and user experiences that resonate with donors and inspire action.
You'll Be Responsible For:
- Leading the Vision: Developing and overseeing Islamic Aid's brand identity, ensuring consistency and alignment with our mission and values across all touchpoints.
- Crafting Compelling Narratives: Conveying the impact of our work through powerful visuals and storytelling techniques. This includes designing exceptional visuals for various marketing materials (direct mail, print ads, brochures, posters) and digital assets (website, landing pages, email templates, PPC campaigns).
- Championing User Experience (UX) & User Interface (UI): Designing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for our website, landing pages, and online donation platforms, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for all users.
- Digital Innovation: Staying abreast of the latest design trends and technologies to keep Islamic Aid's digital presence fresh and innovative.
- Collaboration is Key: Partnering with the marketing and fundraising teams to understand campaign objectives and develop design concepts that effectively convey our message and enhance Islamic Aid's branding.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Utilizing user research findings to inform design decisions and ensure a positive user experience.
- Maintaining Brand Integrity: Ensuring all designs adhere to Islamic Aid's branding guidelines and comply with relevant regulations.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design and UX/UI design, with a proven track record of leading creative teams.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually stunning and user-friendly experiences.
- A deep understanding of design principles (typography, color theory, layout) and how they influence user behavior.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear and concise design solutions.
- Experience with storytelling techniques and the ability to translate impactful narratives into compelling visuals.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design) and UX/UI design tools (Figma, Sketch, etc.).
- A strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- A passion for humanitarian work and a commitment to Islamic Aid's mission.
