Brickability Group plc are currently recruiting for a Credit Contoller to join our Finance team in our Bracknell. The Credit Controller is responsible for the day to day management of a debtors ledger and cash collection for a business / set of customers within the Brickability group of companies to maximise collections and minimise risk.

Responsibilities of the role:

• Proactive liaison with customers and / or sales team including via telephone, email and letter
• Prompt management and resolution of queries
• Maintenance of a “clean” ledger
• Debtor account reconciliations
• Cash allocations / postings
• Customer account set up / credit checking / management of credit limits
• Escalation of issues as appropriate to FM / FD
• Support of cash forecasting, debtor reporting and audit processes as required
• Support to the wider Finance team where required

Role requirements:

• 2+ years’ experience working in Credit Control / Finance role#
• Experience of using Microsoft Great Plains / Bistrack / Other Accounting Packages
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Calm and assertive being able to communicate across all levels of the business.
• Capacity to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
• Methodical with attention to detail and accuracy

Desirable-

• AAT / ICM student
• Knowledge of construction industry / distribution businesses
