Customer Service Representative
Salary: £22,542 per annum
Location: Home based
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, shift patterns between 8.30am – 6pm
Start Date: 2nd December 2024

Capita Pensions Solutions are looking for Customer Service Representatives to join our pensions team on a permanent basis. You will work Monday to Friday, with shift patterns between the core hours of 8.30am to 6pm, there’s no evenings or weekends, for a salary of £22,542! If you’re the type of person who loves to support others and has call centre and/or customer service experience - then this could be the ideal role for you!

Our Pensions team deal with incoming calls from a wide range of members and their beneficiaries regarding their pension. You will be part of a specialist and knowledgeable team supporting with various pension enquiries. You will get involved in a wide variety of calls, it’s never a boring day here!

What you’ll be doing:

• Taking a high volume of inbound calls from a wide range of members and their beneficiaries
• After your in-depth training period you will be able to handle a wide range of queries within agreed service levels.
• Working in your team, you’ll be supported and encouraged by your Team Manager to develop your skills within a fast paced environment.
• Your training will be virtual and very comprehensive to ensure you are fully equipped with the skills and knowledge to be able to handle every call efficiently.

What we’re looking for (ALL ESSENTIAL):

• Proven call centre and/or customer service experience.
• Excellent telephone manner with the ability to display empathy and know how to build and maintain a strong rapport with members.
• Great passion for customer service with the ability to resolve queries quickly and efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise and use your initiative.
• Knowledge and experience of pensions (advantages but not essential).
