We are currently searching for a Bar Manager to work with us on the day to day running and development of our popular, independent, city centre Bar & Venue.
Within the last two years of our ownership we have seen The Crown turn into a beloved local for people of all walks of life, and also a hub for an exciting local music scene!
The ideal applicant will be interested in all the joy of running a good old fashioned boozer, but have a love of music and take pride in their contribution to one of Bristol’s cultural hubs.
The role will include:

• Day to day management with a varied schedule of day and night shifts.
• Manage staff to ensure that a high standard of professional service is provided, working closely with the kitchen in a similar regard
• Greeting and working with promoters and artists in the venue
• Working with staff and security to ensure the safety of all guests
• Being a friendly face on the floor to ensure that all customers feel welcome and comfortable
• Basic stock management and ordering, other light admin duties

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 6 months management experience in a pub, venue or similar
• A warm and friendly demeanour with the team and with customers
• A willingness to learn on the job
• Good problem solving abilities
