St Cyr Vintage are looking for a part-time e-commerce clothing preparation assistant to join our team located in Harlow, Essex. We have been trading for 16 years in stores and online combined.
You will have responsibility for preparing items from our curated vintage clothing and accessories which includes steaming, stain removal and identifying minor repairs. Applicants should have a keen eye for detail, a can-do attitude, and willingness to work efficiently alone . No prior experience is strictly necessary, but there may be opportunities to progress into other roles (and additional hours) within the business for the right candidate.
The job will be on site in our Harlow warehouse where you will work alongside our small team in an office/warehouse environment. This role will occasionally include assisting with other day-to-day operational duties such as helping with processing deliveries and stock fulfilment.
Primary role and responsibilities

• Spotting defects in stock and marking up accordingly
• Lint / fluff removal and stain removal
• Steam cleaning garments ready for photographing
• Minor repairs (some experience would be ideal but we can provide training for the right candidate)

Secondary roles and responsibilities

• Assisting with on-site storage and processing deliveries

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Have excellent use of the English language
• Superb attention to detail with exceptional organisational skills
• Self-motivation and a positive can-do attitude
• Confident communicator

Ideal Skills and Experience:

• Worked within a textile background and can sew confidently (small repairs)

Salary / Schedule

• Starting at Minimum wage for your age / based on experience
• Flexible hours up to 16 hours per week
• Monday to Friday (two to three days a week) between 9am and 5pm
