Job Summary
As the E-Commerce Product Development Manager at FENSCO LTD, you’ll manage the end-to-end lifecycle of products, from ideation through to market launch. This role will involve coordinating with suppliers and logistics teams, overseeing new product initiatives, and driving performance optimization across e-commerce platforms. Additionally, you’ll manage supplier relationships in China, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery. Your contributions will be essential in shaping our product offerings, expanding our market reach, and ensuring a seamless experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
E-Commerce Channel Management

• Platform Strategy & Optimization: Manage e-commerce listings to improve visibility, CVR, and GMV.
• Advertising & Campaign Management: Lead paid media efforts, including PPC and display ads, to increase ROAS and reduce CPA.
• Channel Expansion: Explore opportunities to extend FENSCO’s presence on new marketplaces, specialized niche platforms, and regional sites.
• Omnichannel Strategy: Develop an integrated strategy across online platforms to deliver a consistent brand experience.
• Inventory & Supply Chain: Work with internal teams to maintain stock levels, manage inventory, and ensure timely product availability.

New Product Development (NPD)

• Market Research & Strategy: Conduct market analysis and consumer research to identify trends and shape product development.
• Competitive Analysis: Track competitor movements to identify opportunities and stay ahead in the market.
• Consumer Insights: Leverage customer feedback from surveys, focus groups, and social media to inform product design.
• Product Ideation & Testing: Lead the ideation, prototyping, and testing of new products, collaborating with design and marketing teams.
• Commercialization Strategy: Define pricing and go-to-market strategies to ensure successful product launches.
• Supplier Collaboration: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers in China, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Sustainability: Integrate eco-friendly materials and processes into product development to align with FENSCO’s sustainability goals.

Shipping & Logistics Coordination

• Shipping & Logistics Management: Oversee logistics planning, coordinating with shipping teams and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Cost Optimization: Work with suppliers and logistics providers to optimize shipping costs and delivery times.
• Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot shipping and supply chain issues as they arise, ensuring that solutions align with customer expectations and business needs.

Performance Optimization & Analytics

• Metrics Tracking: Monitor KPIs, including CVR, CPA, and GMV, to optimize product and platform performance.
• Optimization: Use data insights to refine listings, campaigns, and strategies, improving sales and conversion rates.
• Customer Insights: Collaborate with customer service to capture feedback and ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work

• Leadership Collaboration: Align product initiatives with strategic goals, working closely with the founder and investors.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Chinese suppliers, for smooth project execution.

Sustainability & Compliance

• Sustainability Goals: Ensure all NPD projects support FENSCO’s commitment to sustainability.
• Compliance: Ensure products meet regulatory standards for sourcing, production, and shipping, especially with international suppliers.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years in e-commerce, with at least 1 year in New Product Development (NPD).
• NPD Expertise: Proven skills in market research, product ideation, and supplier management.
• Shipping & Logistics: Experience managing shipping logistics and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and cost optimization.
• Supplier Management: Strong experience in supplier negotiation, especially with partners in China.
• Data-Driven Approach: Ability to drive GMV, improve CVR, and optimize CPA through data analysis and insights.
• Consumer Insights: Ability to analyze market trends and translate consumer needs into actionable product strategies.
• Product Lifecycle Management: Skilled in managing the product lifecycle to meet market demands and brand standards.
• Languages: Fluent in both Mandarin and English.
