Job overview
You will be providing a comprehensive learning support service and ensuring students achieve their full potential. You will work within a classroom setting supporting the learning of our students or will be supporting our Inclusion interventions.
Enthusiasm, passion and a good sense of humour is essential as is a high level of resilience and personal commitment. The successful candidate will be required to have excellent Maths and English skills – equivalent to GCSE grade C or above. Previous experience in a school setting would be beneficial but is not essential, however the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate that they can engage with young people and build positive relationships.

About St Aldhelm’s Academy
St Aldhelm's Academy is a 900 PAN-pupil school which currently has 845 students. St Aldhelm’s joined Ambitions Academy Trust in 2015 and educates boys and girls aged between 11 and 16.
We pride ourselves on clear and regular communication with parents about their child’s personal and academic development. We want all students to be active members of the school community and supportive of SAA, whether that be representing their TG, House, Student Voice, Student Leadership (student voice in terms of their learning and all aspects of academy life, student leadership, tours, recruitment), belonging to a team/club etc.
