We are primarily suppliers of tyres, brakes, exhausts and other ancillary products to the motoring public. We’re seeking an exceptional General Manager to join our dedicated team.
Our Export Team arrange shipments of goods, predominantly tyres, all over the world whilst delivering outstanding, customer-centric service.
The Role:
We are searching for an Export Assistant to join our team. The primary purpose of the role is to assist the Export Manager in all aspects of export operations. The role will involve but is not limited to:
Sales Support:
  • Assist the Sales Manager in managing customer enquiries, preparing quotes, and processing orders.
  • Maintain and update customer databases and sales orders/records.
  • Coordinate with the suppliers/shipping team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Participate in sales meetings and provide input on customer needs/supplier performance
Administrative Tasks:
  • Handle general office duties such as answering phones, managing correspondence, and organising files.
  • Prepare and manage documents, reports, and presentations as required.
  • Create purchase and sales orders
  • Check and confirm sales contracts from suppliers
  • Assist with processing goods-in onto the system
Client Interaction & Sales Trips:
  • Support sales initiatives by preparing quotations and following up with clients.
  • Accompany the sales manager on trips to meet with clients, as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Support export and Channel Island sales
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal shipping dept on a regular basis
  • Stock posting
  • Purchase order processing
  • Quality control of contracts
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
  • Previous experience in sales support, administrative roles, or customer service.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel both solo and accompanied as required.
  • Experience in the automotive or export industry.
  • Familiarity with CRM software.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
