The Copthorne Hotel Manchester is seeking a Finance Assistant. The successful applicant will assist with the day-day running of the Finance department.
Finance Assistant responsibilities include:

• Processing invoices
• Raising credit notes
• Populating daily figures to submit to HODs and Head Office daily
• Administering customer deposits and refunds
• Processing monthly statements
• Maintaining accurate banking records
• Stock control
• Managing the daily floats and resolving any discrepancies
• Processing petty cash requests
• Completing the daily and month end banking journals
• Reconciling credit card transactions

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience as a Finance Assistant
• Experience of Opera/similar is advantageous (any other systems to add here?)
• Experience of Word, Excel, Email
• High level of numeracy and literacy
• A self-motivated individual who has the ability to work using initiative and as part of a team
• The ability to work to a high standard, while managing a busy workload
• The ability to work accurately under pressure
• Availability to work Monday to Friday, typically office hours
