Main purpose of the role:
To provide support to the purchase ledger function of the busy finance team by posting supplier invoices, managing supplier queries, and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the purchase ledger. There will also be further support to other areas of the finance team including customer and supplier record maintenance, customer collections and provide holiday cover on other key tasks of the finance team. It will be a varied role with the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities as the role develops.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
Pay: £26,000.00 per year

Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Purchase invoice processing.
- Purchase ledger maintenance.
- Completing periodic supplier statement reconciliations
- Generating self-bill invoices
- Maintenance of customer and supplier system records
- Maintenance of invoicing and transactions from online shop platforms
- Managing card payments from customers over the phone
- Cash posting and allocations.
- Providing relevant holiday cover and general support for key finance functions
- Other ad-hoc duties, as required.
- IT literate and competent with Microsoft Excel
- Good communication skills; both written and verbal
- A strong interest in working in a finance function.
- Demonstrable experience of time management, problem solving and initiative
- A good team ethic and willingness to support colleagues.
- Experience with Microsoft D365
- Accounts / finance related higher qualification.
Pay: £26,000.00 per year
