Main purpose of the role:
To be a key member of the technical team; testing predominantly flour, from raw materials to finished products and perform auditing to ensure quality control and assurance.
The main duties of the role include:

• Using a range of bench tests and instrumental techniques, you will provide daily quality control on incoming and outgoing materials to ensure compliance with both in-house specifications and EC/UK regulations.
• Maintain all analysis records, trending of results and KPI’s.
• Carry out basic lab housekeeping routines ensuring all lab areas clean and tidy.
• Maintain all laboratory equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
• Prepare and certify samples of finished products for customers to ensure they meet requirements.
• Organise and complete sampling according to schedules, including internal and external checks.
• Support the technical team in maintenance of specifications and internal systems including the quality management system.
• Internal auditing to ensure compliance to site standards and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with site personnel, and where appropriate suppliers and customers.
