Main Purpose of the Job
To act as a Finance Business Partner with a focus on supporting the Commercial team, providing reporting and information on funds, sales, and gross profit performance by client, by sector, and by product category.
Main Responsibilities
· Produce reporting using Power BI through development of business knowledge and identifying where financial insights can add value
· Provide analysis of sales and gross profit, average spend per client, and product types purchased by client
· Provide analysis of voucher sales, expiries, and cancellations, ensuring appropriate accounting treatment, including ageing analysis
· Support the Commercial team by providing information to help effectively manage the client lifecycle, including identifying clients with no/low balances, non-spending clients, clients with expiring vouchers
· Supporting the development of a sales funnel process using the Hubspot CRM system
· Present information in a variety of ways to suit the target audience, ensuring it is accurate and accessible
· Ensure the Commercial team understand performance against agreed budgets and targets
· Prepare, automate, and review payment schedules and cancellations
· Prepare audit working papers as appropriate and liaise with auditors on site
· Manage and deal with queries from suppliers, clients, and colleagues on a timely basis
· Ad hoc support to the Financial Controller, as required

Qualifications and Experience
Essential
· Part qualified accountant or finalist
· Experience of working in a similar role
· Well-developed Microsoft Office skills, with advanced excel skills including a good understanding of VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
· Demonstrable attention to detail
Desirable
· Extensive experience of cloud-based accounting software, preferably Microsoft Business Central
· Experience of Power BI or similar reporting software
