Gatehouse Security Officer

Montrose

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Security Officer to join Kingdom Services Group Ltd, working between two sites on gatehouses and reception at our sites in Montrose, DD10 area.
There may be overtime in the Aberdeen or Dundee area for the right candidate.
Main Duties: Manage the gatehouse and control access and egress of all contractors, visitors and staff to site ensuring all documentation, policies and procedures are followed.

Hours: On average 24 hours per week, shifts as per site rota. Monday to Sunday 06:00am - 18:00pm & 18:00pm - 06:00am, main shift pattern will be a Saturday & Sunday but other shifts may be available.
Pay rate : £11.56 per hour.

Responsibilities:

Manning the sites of our clients various gatehouses and receptions.
Being the first point of contact for customers visitors and staff.
Monitoring fire alarms intruder alarms and cctv.
Patrolling.
Reporting and monitoring loss and waste.
Issuing keys and booking in visitors and contractors.
Undertake any other site duties that are given by site manager.

What do we need from you?

A valid SIA licence or applied for one.
Own transport required.
A full five year checkable employment history.
Excellent customer service skills.
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
Surveillance skills.
Excellent communication skills are required both written and verbal.
Have a good level of judgement professionalism.
IT skills.
