An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Static Security Officer to join Kingdom Services Group Ltd working at a secure training centre site in Willoughby, CV23 area.

Hours: On average 42 hours per week, shifts as per site rota. 4 on 4 off, Monday to Sunday 06:00am - 18:00pm.
Pay rate: £12.85 per hour.

Person Specification

• A valid SIA licence or applied for.
• A full five year checkable employment history.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
• Surveillance skills.
• Excellent communication skills are required both written and verbal.
• Have a good level of judgement professionalism.
• IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Introduce yourself at the start of a new shift - Have a "can do" attitude and accept reasonable instruction - Smile, acknowledge, say hello, use eye contact & engage during shift.
• Cultivate a good team working relationship (inc local police) - Wear appropriate contract uniform - ID Card & SIA License - Are you proud of how you look today / promoting professionalism? - Be knowledgeable.
• Asset protection (Stock, Property, People)
• Be aware of location layout - High profile visual patrols - Being observant & vigilant - Be aware of hot spots and identify areas of concern - Deter persons with intent to commit a criminal act, play your part in providing a safe work environment and reducing any loss.
• Safe & Secure
• Book on/off and make safety calls at an agreed frequency - Be aware of life safety systems & safe to work procedures e.g. alarms, first aid, fire doors clear, react and support swiftly - Make safe, calm and controlled decisions - Record & escalate appropriately.
• Assignment Instructions (AIs)
• Content awareness including, breaks & welfare, personal mobile phone & headset use, smoking policy, risk assessment & crisis management.
• Access & egress control - CCTV monitoring - Key control - Site patrols, checks & lockdowns - Equipment use and maintenance - Maintain a daily log book - Arrest & Search (must be aware of policies) - Administration
