Graduate Geologist - 2025 Programme

The role
With support and mentorship from colleagues, you will:
- Undertake geological site work, such as core logging, sampling, and mapping
- Assist with the design and supervision of mineral resource drilling programmes
- Generate and manage geological databases
- Review, interpret and report geological data
- Carry out geological modelling and help prepare technical reports
- Assist with the preparation of proposals and contribute to business development within the company
The position will involve regular site work which may involve working on sites away from home.

About you
Whilst the role would suit a graduate seeking their first professional role, we would equally be happy to hear from candidates who have already gained some degree of post-graduate experience in a commercial environment, in a comparable role.
- University Degree (or equivalent) in Geology (or related subject) and formal academic training in Earth Science
- Graduate level membership of a relevant professional body (or eligibility for)
- Experience of drilling fieldwork, core logging and sampling is desirable
- Familiarity with spatial software such CAD, Arc GIS, Map Info or QGIS, as well as geological modelling software, such as Leapfrog, Vulcan, Datamine, Micromine would be advantageous
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to write concise reports and confidence to interact with clients
Due to the nature of the role, a full driving licence valid in the UK is essential for this position.

The role will be based in the UK or Ireland, although will involve regular site work which may involve working away from home
