Pinnacle Group are seeking a dedicated a Housing Assistant, providing a comprehensive support and administration service for regional and area housing services including responding to a range of enquiries from service families as well as internal and external stakeholders. You will be joining our Homes team based in Speke. Our Homes team plays a crucial role as part of Pinnacle Service Families, our largest contract managing 49,000 military family homes on behalf of the Ministry of Defence. As part of the team, you’ll sign up to our mission: To be champions of Service Families, advocating for them in everything we do.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Tenancy Management: Responding to tenants’ enquiries. Managing void and lettings processes in line with contractual obligations and as per client requirements.
  • Liaising with repair contractors to ensure works are completed within performance indicators and to a high standard.
  • Administer and support regional teams with follow on ‘in occupancy’ enquiries such as aids and adaptations (ANDA), permissions, squatters, abandonment, ASB and referrals to other agencies
  • Complete and maintain accurate and detailed records in all operational systems and templates
  • Coordinate, administer, monitor Housing Officer appointments/diaries including short notices changes and long-term planning liaising with the area manager and other stakeholders as required. Using the 60/40 criteria


Key requirements:
  • Knowledge of housing legislation and current practice is desirable however we will consider candidates with experience in a similar field willing to learn.
  • Possess CIH/ARLA qualification or similar, or willing to undertake such qualifications.
  • Confidence in forming effective working relationships with a diverse range of people, including working inclusively and as part of a team
  • Excellent listening, written and oral communication skills including the ability to adapt oral and written communication methods and styles to suit the audience
  • Competent using a wide range of operational software and Microsoft Office packages particularly in the areas of Excel, Word, Power Point, Teams and Outlook.
