HR and Operations Administrative Assistant
London
FULL TIME
September 23, 2024
IFST is hiring!
We are looking for a HR and Operations Administrative Assistant to support our work to promote food science and technology for the benefit, safety and health of everyone.
As our HR and Operations Administrative Assistant, you will provide a range of core administrative support for the Institute’s activities. Reporting to the HR and Operations Manager, this role will include HR, operations, facilities and governance administration, as well as exciting opportunities to support our IFST member community. You should be IT literate, already have some administrative experience and be looking for a role in which you can develop your skills and progress your career.
Experience of using CRMs, membership databases and/or HRIS systems is highly desirable in applicants for this role.
This role demands a proactive individual with exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of taking initiative in their role and comfortable communicating with people at all levels of the Institute. We are a small team, so a proactive and can-do attitude is just as important as your administrative skills.
The post will be office-based (Hammersmith, London), with occasional homeworking in accordance with business needs. You may also need to occasionally provide support at IFST events, such as our annual IFST Lecture and IFST Conference.
Please send your CV and a brief cover letter detailing your relevant experience/skills and what attracts you to this role. Please note that any CVs received without an accompanying cover letter will not be considered.
All applications must be emailed to recruitment@ifst.org. We will look at applications as we receive them, and if we think you could be right for the role, we will ask you to meet us.
