Job Introduction
Independent Audit Committee MemberWe are looking for an Independent Member for our Audit Committee, which is a unique and exciting opportunity to get involved in local government.
As an ambitious Council, this role is absolutely crucial to maintaining robust and transparent governance practices, ensuring that our services are delivered in a carefully managed way and provide value for money for residents and businesses.
As an advisory position, the Independent Member will play a key role in providing independent and objective advice and scrutiny on governance, risk, financial management and audit.
With an allowance of £200 per meeting attended, this role represents a fantastic opportunity to make a difference and get involved in shaping the future of local government.
