Starting salary £40,489pa with potential progression to £43,690pa on achieving designated skills and experience

37 hours per week (hybrid working)
As the biggest landlord in the area, with 9,000 rented and 1,300 leasehold homes, we have big ambitions for the homes in our borough. Our multi-million-pound regeneration projects include the development of leisure, industrial, retail and operational sites, and we’re investing £150 million in people’s homes over the next five years with a target of being net zero by 2030.
We are looking to recruit a Fire Safety Compliance Officer to be responsible for helping meet statutory, non-statutory and Asset related obligations and reporting on and improving property compliance, including the provision of contract management, quality assurance, relevant legal services, and support with property access issues.
Main Responsibilities
As Compliance Officer for Fire Safety, you will ensure we meet our statutory obligations and champion best practice as you maintain building compliance, support project management and monitor contract performance.
The Ideal Candidate
For the specialist Fire Safety role, you will require a NEBOSH certificate or equivalent. You will need exceptional people skills and have the confidence to influence decisions using all your technical knowledge and skills.
