Description & Requirements

• Support the Senior/Delivery Managers with the planning, scoping and fieldwork for each individual audit assignment including deploying analytic tools where appropriate.
• Preparation of audit working paper documentation in accordance with professional standards and GIA methodology.
• Audit follow up to verify issues have been adequately addressed by management.
• Co-ordination of internal audit activities with LSM’s risk management and compliance functions.
• Support in identifying areas for annual planning as well as preparation of committee papers, reports and annual plans.Keep up to date with internal Liberty and market developments
• Adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements forms part of your role, and the demonstration of behaviours as set out in the Conduct Risk Policy, as they relate to your role, is core to LSM's commitment to our Liberty Values, placing customers at the centre of our business and behaving with integrity. • Insurance / Reinsurance industry experience would be a significant advantage.
• Relevant internal audit experience
• Sound understanding of core regulatory/best practice control models (Lloyds, PRA, Sox’s, COSO etc.).
• Strong oral/written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical skills combined with exposure to analytical tools.
Ability to use Microsoft application, including a degree of data analytics knowledge to execute basic analytical tasks.
