Overview
As an IT Compliance Specialist, you will ensure that the organization's IT systems and processes adhere to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies. This role involves conducting audits, assessments, and training to maintain compliance and mitigate risks.
Duties

• Monitor and enforce compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of IT systems, processes, and practices.
• Identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain IT compliance policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Collaborate with legal and IT teams to address compliance issues.
• Provide training and awareness programs on IT compliance for employees.
• Stay updated with changes in regulations and standards that impact IT compliance.
• Prepare and present compliance reports to management.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Skills

• Strong understanding of IT compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT).
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).
• Experience in conducting audits and risk assessments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple compliance initiatives.
• Familiarity with IT governance and risk management practices.
• Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, or CGEIT are a plus.

Pay: £25.00-£55.00 per hour
