Job Title: IT Dispatch Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled IT Dispatch Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, testing, and configuring computer systems and hardware components, ensuring that all systems meet quality and performance standards. The ideal candidate should be able to install computer into brackets and mount them. Candidate need to have Allenkeys and other tools to fix brackets and computer parts.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and configure computer systems, including desktops, laptops, and servers.
• Install and test hardware components such as motherboards, CPUs, RAM, storage devices, and power supplies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain an inventory of spare parts and equipment.
• Perform regular maintenance and upgrades on existing systems.
• Collaborate with IT support staff to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software.
• Document assembly processes, system configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in computer assembly and hardware troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of computer components and peripherals.
• Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux, mac OS) and software installation.
• Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in installing brackets
• Knowledge of scripting or programming languages.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £50.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 3 per week
Schedule:

• Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Pontefract, West Yorkshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• Computer hardware: 3 years (required)
