Role: Dispatch Clerk
Pay rate: £11.44ph + Evening shift allowance of £10 per working evening
Working Hours: Monday – Friday: 3:00pm – 12:00pm. Overtime if required. You will have a total of 1-hour break; 2 x 30-minute breaks unpaid.

We are a busy fast-growing poultry manufacturing company that requires Production Operatives to join the team. We require someone who is reliable, hardworking, has excellent communications skills, good attention to detail and has a general understanding of Food Safety.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Working in a controlled cold temperature environment.
• Completion of SR35a's
• Checks batch codes inside the factory - Makes sure everything has traceability plates on
• Checks orders - What's to be made
• Checks labels are correct on bags in Dispatch - Sends back if incorrect
• Checks seals
• Supports staff with queries
• Checking the quality of the finished product
• Liaises any information from Technical
• All PPE will be provided.
• Adhering to relevant health and safety regulations when operating machinery and handling products.
• To carry out any other duty that is appropriate to the level of the post as may be assigned from time to time by your line manager.

Essential Requirements:

• Basic English written & verbal communication skills required.
• Flexibility if overtime is required.
• Willingness to adapt to new working practices & processes.
• Reliable & punctual.
• Must have good levels of numeracy & literacy.
• Excellent attention to detail & time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, organize and prioritise responsibilities.
• Proficient in computer use, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Nice to have the knowledge of chicken products is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Ability to follow instructions clearly & concisely.
• Ability to prioritize workload.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Reliable, hard working and excellent attention to detail.
• Willing to learn.
