Lead QA Engineer - Med Tech

Role Overview:
A Med Tech business are looking for a skilled Lead QA Engineer to join a growing Product Development team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the quality of web applications through effective testing strategies and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:

• Technical leadership of the QA team, providing guidance, support and mentorship to the team members to develop best practice, including staying current with the latest developments in appropriate technologies.
• Process leadership for QA, developing strategies to optimise the way that the team work so that they can an ever increasing level of product quality.
• Drive efficiency and cost reduction in QA processes through innovation, automation, and appropriate tools.
• Work closely with product management and operations to thoroughly understand what the platform needs to deliver.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Lead QA on a commercial web application, ideally within a compliance driven background.
• Experience with Webdriver IO, Cypress and Java Script
• Experience in Test and Test Suite / Test Cycle creation, maintenance and execution.
• Experience in the process and operation of regularly transitioning manual tests to an automated test platform.
