Overview
We are currently seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Caregivers. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to individuals in need within a residential setting.
Responsibilities
- Providing personal care and assistance to residents, including grooming, bathing, and dressing
- Assisting with medication administration as per individual care plans
- Supporting residents with mobility and daily activities
- Monitoring and reporting changes in residents' health or behaviour to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents
- Assisting with meal preparation and feeding if required
Skills
- Experience in senior care or nursing environments is advantageous
- Knowledge of assisted living principles and practices
- Competency in medication administration and first aid procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks when necessary
- A valid driver's licence is desirable for transportation needs
